Do you argue with your vendors?

The best vendors you can have are those that are willing to risk losing your business by challenging you.

Most of the time we like when people agree with us. There are times though when a respectful debate can be very beneficial. This is very true in the area of market research.

Powerfeedback has seen a lot of competitors market research findings over the last decades and sadly, all too often, it is obvious that not enough “debate” was injected into the formation of the discussion guide/survey instrument/questionnaire.

While I am not suggesting hand-to-hand combat in the process, I am emphatically saying that if the client has developed the questions for whatever qualitative or quantitative market research project is being undertaken, and the market research vendor challenges nothing, there is a high likelihood that this project will be a waste of time and money.

At Powerfeedback we view our role very simply as giving the client information to make even better decisions with. In the end our goal is to inform the client completely enough so that they can save and/or create jobs, improve their sales and profitability, and make their products and services better.

Does your vendor share these goals and philosophies? If not please email me today to schedule a no-charge consultation to learn how Powerfeedback can help to make your business even more successful.

While most of us do not relish arguments, a healthy debate can lead to great things.
