Do you take pride in your work at your workplace?

Given the still high unemployment rate and the number of people looking for work you might expect that employees are setting forth with a personal initiative to take extra pride in their work. Sadly you would be wrong!

In a nationwide poll we ask one simple question; “how much pride to you take in your work at your job?” The chart below reveals the findings.

We are conducting a follow-up causation study to better understand the drivers of this as surely this will be of great concern to human resource managers as well as senior managers in general.
